Eight podiums and a strong block in Germany

The German Bahnen-Tournee marked a strong and consistent performance across five race days, with the team collecting a total of eight UCI podium finishes and delivering competitive rides from start to finish.

Across all venues, the riders showed depth, resilience and a clear ability to perform at a high international level throughout a demanding racing block in the heat of Germany.

The tour opened in Öschelbronn with an immediate highlight, as Rasmus Lund powered to victory in the men’s C2 points race. Kieran Riley also impressed on day one, crossing the line first in the men’s elimination race after a tactically strong ride, ultimately being classified 2nd following a jury decision. The day was rounded off with an aggressive and solid team performance in the Madison, where the pair finished 4th, just one point shy of the podium.

Momentum continued into the following rounds in Oberhausen, Dudenhofen and Darmstadt, where the team repeatedly featured in the top ranks across multiple disciplines. Rasmus Lund secured 2nd place in the C1 Omnium in Oberhausen and followed up with another 2nd place in the C1 scratch race in Dudenhofen, along with a 3rd place in the C2 points race in Darmstadt. Michelle Andres added further podium strength with a 2nd place in the C1 Madison in Dudenhofen and two additional 3rd places in the C2 Omnium in Oberhausen and the C1 scratch race in Darmstadt.

Kieran Riley added another strong result with a 2nd place in the C2 elimination race in Öschelbronn, underlining his consistency throughout the opening days of the tour. Meanwhile, Astrid Bjørn Sørensen achieved a personal milestone with her first-ever top-8 finish in a C1 Omnium, marking an important step forward in her development at international level.

Across the five race days, the team’s combined results reflect a total of eight UCI podium finishes and a strong collective performance across all events and disciplines.

Six podium finishes in Prague

The Track Team Denmark can look back on a highly successful UCI CL1 weekend in Prague, where the team delivered strong performances across multiple disciplines and made a solid mark on the international stage.

From the very first day of racing, the team demonstrated a high sporting level and strong cohesion. The weekend began with a victory for Laura Auerbach-Lind in the women's scratch race, while Robin Skivild secured an overall 3rd place in the men's omnium.

On the second day, the results continued. Our Irish rider Kieran Riley achieved a strong 2nd place in the men's points race, narrowly missing out on victory in the final sprint. Laura Auerbach-Lind added another podium with a bronze medal in the women's omnium, while Oskar Winkler and Robin Skivild secured a 2nd place in the men's madison.

After just two days of racing, the team had already achieved five UCI Class 1 podium finishes. On the final day of the event, Laura Auerbach-Lind delivered another strong performance, finishing 2nd in the women's omnium, bringing the team's total to six UCI podiums over the weekend.

The Prague weekend was a strong confirmation of both the depth and quality within the squad. Several riders proved competitive at a high international level, underlining the daily work invested in both the sporting structure and the development of the project.

A huge thank you goes to Monique, who supported the team all weekend long, captured great photos, filled bottles, went shopping and made sure the riders had everything they needed.

The international program continues next week, as the team travels to Germany for another major block of racing across five different tracks.

Two World Cup podiums in Asia

While a part of the team was competing in Ghent, Robin Skivild, Oskar Winkler and Michelle Andres travelled with their national teams to the track World Cups in Hong Kong and Nilai , where they each secured a sensational podium finish.

Robin Skivild and Oskar Winkler got things underway in Hong Kong. Riding with the Danish national team, they achieved an excellent second place in the team pursuit. In the Madison, the two TTD riders finished in eighth place.

One week later, Michelle Andres competed in Nilai for Switzerland. In the Madison, she and her teammate secured a strong third place, marking the third World Cup podium of her career. In the team pursuit, she finished sixth with two solid rides.

A strong performance by our riders in Asia, we can't wait to see them race in Europe soon!

Double victory in Ghent

The European track season kicked off in mid-April with the International Track Meeting in Ghent, Belgium. With Lasse Norman Leth, Rasmus Lund, Laura Auerbach and Astrid Bjørn Sørensen, TTD travelled with a squad combining experienced riders and young talents.

The highly competitive field not only brought together world-class athletes, but was also so large that qualification rounds were required in every discipline, making for an intense race programme.

The team delivered active and aggressive performances, highlighted by a one-two finish in the men's scratch race: Lasse Norman Leth won the fast-paced race ahead of Rasmus Lund, securing the team's first UCI C1 victory of the season.

A great event and valuable race experience for the entire team.

Team presentation kicked off the 2026 season

A memorable evening that celebrated our team, our sponsors and the start of the 2026 season.

Last week, the team gathered at the Thorvald Ellegaard Lounge in the Ballerup Super Arena for our annual presentation – an evening full of energy, inspiration and connection. The intimate setting allowed riders, sponsors and guests to meet in a relaxed environment, enjoy great conversations and share their plans and ambitions for the season ahead. It was the perfect occasion to celebrate the team spirit and highlight the support of our generous partners who make our journey possible.

During the event, Team Manager Anders Fynbo introduced the team's goals and outlined the upcoming races, giving everyone a clear vision of what's to come. Lasse Norman Leth also shared an inspiring thought that the team will take as a guiding motto for the season: "You have to enjoy it and whatever you do, always have fun."

With this mindset, the team is heading into the new season full of motivation, ready to tackle the first race in just under a month in Belgium

Gold, silver and a world record for our TTD riders

The European Championships were a great success for the Danish team and our Track Team Denmark riders. In total, five riders from our team represented their countries in Konya, Turkey.

Lasse Norman Leth, Robin Skivild, Rasmus Lund and Laura Auerbach-Lind competed for Denmark, while Michelle Andres represented Switzerland. The week got off to a fantastic start.

Leth, Skivild and Lund claimed the European title in the team pursuit together with Tobias Aagaard Hansen and Frederik Rodenberg. In the first round, the Danish squad delivered an outstanding performance, even going under the world record with an incredible time of 3:39.977.

In addition, Skivild secured the silver medal in the individual pursuit after breaking the Danish national record in the qualification round.

In the Madison, Skivild and Leth finished sixth, while Lund placed 12th in the men's Omnium after battling strongly throughout the day.

Auerbach-Lind was involved in some intense racing in both the Scratch and the Points Race, where she secured two top-20 finishes.

Michelle Andres was part of the Swiss women's team pursuit squad, finishing fifth while breaking the Swiss national record twice. She also delivered a strong performance in the Omnium, finishing eighth, and placed eighth in the Madison together with her partner.
